How to change the font style from regular to italic?

How to change the font style from regular to italic?

Actually, the Ctrl + I key combination can run over 147 different commands. However, on most devices, it changes the normal font style to italics by default. And not only in Word, but also in any other program where you can edit text.

You can not only italicize, but also modify the text you have already entered: to do this, select the word or phrase to be italicized and press Ctrl + I.

MacBook users need to press Command instead of Ctrl to switch to italics.
