How to speed up file downloads in Chrome
When you download really big files in Chrome or another browser, you may notice how long it is. The fact is that most modern browsers download files in a single stream, without engaging your whole channel. In order to speed up the download you need:
In your browser, insert: "chrome://flags/#enable-parallel-downloading" in the address bar
Click "Default" and select "Enabled".
Finished, files will download faster after restarting the browser.
