How to communicate with Siri in silence with text (a smart trick for quiet places)?
To enable the text input field on the Siri screen, you need:
Open Settings → Universal Access.
Find Siri and tap it.
Turn on "Text Input for Siri".
Done! Now after pressing the Home or Power button for a long time, Siri will not wait for a voice command, but will display the keyboard and input box.
By the way, when this setting is enabled, Siri will not only accept responses by text, but also silently respond to them. You don't need to configure anything else to do this.
